Any one out there with a cricut?

I love my cricut and it has changed my life a lot. I love to make vinyl wall sayings, accents for my scrapping, and just right now I made some chipboard shapes!!! Oh it great. Needed a star... cut it the size I wanted, out of K2R Chipboard of course and painted it with a paint dabber and in a few minutes had the perfect thing. What do you love to do with your cricut?

What was the last layout you did?

I have been getting ready for a scrap weekend, so i have been getting things together for many layouts. But the last one that I did was a 2-page spread of my cutie-pa-tootie niece, Mari, at Disneyland. There were several pictures of her with various characters. So the title was "What A Character!"
It was very fun and colorful!!

Have you used acrylic on a scrapbook page? If yes - how?? I used an acrylic star - and dabbed paint on the edges. Then put that over a sports page. It came out cute... And I have used the acrylic arrows, which is kind of fun, too.

CHOMPER vs. Round It All's?

So - We R Memory Keepers just came out with the CHOMPER, a new corner chomper. Last year, Bind-it-all came out with the Round-it-All in 2 sizes. I have the Round-it-alls in both sizes. Has anyone had a chance to play with the CHOMPER? I am very curious to get a review!! I have to say I really like the Crop-o-diles... so, I am thinking that the CHOMPER is bound to be great!! Anyone??

What was the last mini book you worked on?

I have found that lately, I seem to be doing more homey kind fo things... something to hang on the wall, etc. The last mini album I did was a tabbed acrylic album with "Coloring Eggs" as the theme. It came out really cute.. I made it for my neice and nephew - so of course, I had to take it up to Seattle to give it to them! )

SLICE anyone?

I love dies... I remember (way back before Sizzix, etc) I had saved all my $$ (for a year!) from teaching so that I could buy a Mark III accucut die machine and an alphabet set. I was so excited! Now, there are all kinds of die machines. I still have my accucut, as well as an original sizzix machine and a cuttlebug. Then of course the cutters! I have an original cricut and then this year I got the silhouette. Now there is the slice. Does anyone have one? If you do, what do you like (and not like) about it?

New Year's Resolutions?

Hard to believe, but 2009 is here! Do you make New Year's Resolutions? If yes, what are they?

I am in a cleaning mode this week... I am either putting it away, giving it away or throwing it away. After all the stuff I have gone through, one of my resolutions is to THINK before I buy! Do I really need this? I would also like to scrap more. I am so behind on my albums! And of course, I have told myself I need to EXCERCISE! At least 5-10 minutes a night. No biggie... just do it!
